Children and Families
 Pre-kindergarten
helps ensure children are socially, emotionally and cognitively
ready when they enter school. Children who have had preschool or
Head Start experience in private or public programs tend to outscore
their kindergarten classmates who have had little or no such experience,
and that lead often is maintained throughout their scholastic careers.
TEAM operates several affordable comprehensive
early childhood programs that provide quality early care and education.
We focus on education and meet children’s social, cognitive,
physical, emotional, creative, language and cultural developmental
needs.
Each classroom provides an environment in which
children learn to interact as a group and to cope with the changing
world. The daily activities provide an opportunity for each child
to develop at his or her own rate according to his or her own needs.
Teachers plan activities to help children develop a strong self-concept:
dramatic play, music and stories, work with paint, clay and blocks,
large muscle activities, math and language readiness, field trips
and other activities. Classrooms are accredited by The National
Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
