Who we Are

A private, non-profit corporation, TEAM gives financial assistance and supportive services to over 3,500 families residing in the towns of Ansonia, Derby, Seymour, Shelton, Oxford, Beacon Falls, Milford, Orange, Bethany and Woodbridge each year. Services are divided under six program divisions: children and families, elderly, home heating assistance, housing, economic literacy and asset building and community and neighborhood. TEAM is the focal contact place in the Valley Region for families seeking aid and connections to public and private assistance.

TEAM, Inc. is one of twelve Community Action Agencies in Connecticut and one of about 1,000 nationwide. TEAM is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of representatives of the public (elected officials), private sector (business and community organizations) and neighborhoods (to represent residents served by programs).

TEAM is an active member of the Valley Council of Health and Human Services a cooperative venture linking more than 50 non-profit health & human service providers throughout the Valley whose mission is identify, plan, implement, and coordinate a comprehensive system of human service delivery and to advocate for community-wide and culturally diverse planning approaches in the larger Valley.
